Annual Call for Executive Committee Nominations
The Hoosier Chapter and the Heartlands Group are each accepting nominations for individuals to run for two-year terms on their respective Executive Committees (ExComs).
ExCom members are charged with the key responsibilities of setting policy, adopting positions, and authorizing action to further Sierra Club goals in the state (at the Hoosier Chapter level) or in central Indiana (at the Heartlands Group level).
Terms of office are for two years. The new executive committees will be seated in January and will elect their officers at that time.

Election rules can be mailed or e-mailed to any member on request.
Hoosier Chapter Executive Committee
To nominate a member for the Chapter ExCom, send the information listed to the attention of the Nominating Committee, Sierra Club Hoosier Chapter, 212 W. 10th Street, Suite A-335, Indianapolis, IN 46202, or call the Chapter office at (317) 972-1903.
The nomination deadline is Sept. 30. Any member of the Hoosier Chapter is eligible for election.
An election ballot and instructions will appear in the next issue of The Indiana Sierran.
Heartlands Group Executive Committee
Nominations are now being accepted for the Heartlands Group Executive Committee. Any member of the Heartlands Group is eligible for election.
To submit nominations for the Heartlands Group Executive Committee, contact Ed Paynter, Nominating Committee Chair, at (317) 259-4417, or firstname.lastname@example.org, if you are interested in running or would like to recommend someone.
Nominations must be submitted by Sept. 30. Names of nominees will appear in the next newsletter, along with voting instructions.
