The Indiana Sierran Wins 2004 National Newsletter Award
For the first time, The Indiana Sierran has been selected to receive the Sierra Club's national newsletter award.
This award recognizes excellence in newsletter publishing by chapters, groups, and other Sierra Club entities. Judging criteria includes content, design, and cost-efficiency. Newsletters must be created by volunteers to be eligible for the award.
The Indiana Sierran, which is the quarterly newsletter of the Hoosier Chapter, has been edited by Susan Pines for over seven years and designed by Paula Richards for over a year. Both are Indianapolis residents.
The Indiana Sierran was nominated for the award by chapter chair Gene Cox and chapter coordinator Lori Hazlett.
