Attend "From Farm to Table" Panel Discussion

"From Farm to Table: Creating and Nurturing Local Food Systems in Your Community" will be the topic of a panel discussion aimed at bridging the gap between organic grower and urban consumer through CSA (Community Supported Agriculture).

The program will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, from 9 a.m. to noon at Church of the Savior (United Methodist) Fellowship Hall, 6205 Rucker Rd., Indianapolis.

Planned by Greg Foote and Cissy Bowman of Center Valley Organic Farms, the program features an interactive panel of experienced growers, including local organic farmer/marketer Roger Sharritt of Fortville.

Learn the meaning of the organic label, how to build buying clubs and cooperatives in your community, and where to find local organic food. Enjoy samples of locally grown organic dishes.
