Event Rescheduled for January

Chapter Millennium Retreat to Be Fun Weekend Focused on Future

The Chapter retreat described in the previous issue has been rescheduled to Jan. 22-23, 2000, to allow for more in-depth organization and planning.

The Hoosier Chapter Millennium Retreat will be held in the Indianapolis area. Carl Zichella, Director of the Sierra Club Midwest Office, will help lead the retreat. Zichella participated in the successful 1997 Chapter retreat.

The purpose of the retreat is to have fun, to get to know other members, and to decide on conservation goals for 2000, which is the Hoosier Chapter’s 25th anniversary year. “We need your participation to set conservation goals for the new year,” said Chapter chair Lisa Haile.
